The Journey On reflection

The Journey On relaxation exercise was just that:  a little too relaxing.  It could be that I was up until 12:30 last night working on homework, or maybe that my little one had an accident at 2:15, or possibly that everyone was up and "rearing to go" at 6:30.  Either way, I was asleep within 3 minutes of this recording.  That guy has a very relaxing voice!  Anyway, I had to repeat the exercise after a little cat-nap, and it was very interesting.  It made me feel like I was being hypnotized when I couldn't really lift my arms.  I don't know if I liked that part of it, but it was definitely relaxing and it gave me a new way to relax when I get stressed or overwhelmed.  It is amazing how connected the mind and body is!

  1. I agree! The guy's voice was almost hypnotizing. I was so sleepy when I started the exercise that I thought that I would never stay awake but then something strange happened...I actually became energized. I have never experienced anything like this before!

  2. Hello, I had the same experience with the Journey On relaxation exercise. It almost put me to sleep because of the time change I couldn't get to sleep. My alarm goes of at 6:00am, but since of the time change it was 5:00 am when the alarm went off. But after the relaxation exercise I was relaxed and more awake, don't know if that was bad or not couldn't go to sleep after. Next time I won't wait till last minute to do the relaxation exercise.

      Yes, Don't wait until you arein bed and ready for sleep. Of course the time change messes with alot of people. (me included)

    I am glad that the audio worked so well for you. Maybe the time change, the interruption of the little person or you were just really tired, but it worked, you YAHHHHH!
